Okay, so we've finally taken the plunge and put Addison in her room at night(for good this time-I promise). She could care less where she sleeps, but Mommy and Daddy have been holding back on putting her up in her big girl bed because we're paranoid freaks. She's spent one night up there about a month ago and it went really well so we shouldn't have anything to worry about, right? Please! We layed her down, kissed her goodnight, and I turned on her cd player only to have Nick go behind me and turn it WAY down to where you couldn't even make out the music. He said he did this so he could hear her on the monitor. I explained that we'd still be able to hear her breathing and farting loud and clear on the monitor and ended up convincing him to turn it back up.
Nick and I sat here in our room for a while listening to her on the monitor chatting and making some squeaking noise up in her crib. Now it sounds like she's asleep and I can hear her breathing which is reassuring, but it's driving me crazy not to be able to just look over and see her breathing. I think it's time to get one of those video monitors so we can ease our minds a little!
Ha!!! I guess Nick isn't losing any sleep over not having her down here because as I'm typing this I looked over at him and he's PASSED OUT. Go figure!
