My first Mother's Day with Addy here!

Of course I kind of celebrated Mother's Day last year as I was about 2 months pregnant with Addison, but this year was soooo much better with her here.  Nick was in Vegas last year right before Mother's Day so he surprised me a new Coach purse he'd picked out for me while he was there.  This year he surprised me with a sterling silver charm bracelet from Tiffany's along with a charm of the letter "A" and one that's a heart that says 'I Love You'!!!  

We had some of my family over for a bbq and fun with the new Wii on Saturday evening and this afternoon we met some of Nick's family down at the Power and Light District for lunch.  It was a nice weekend with family and Nick was wonderful (he usually is anyway, but he was extra wonderful this weekend) about helping out and making sure I was taken care of.  

Addison is now eating rice cereal with some fruit mixed in it.  She's not a big fan of pears, but is managing to keep bananas down.  She can also put her bottle in her mouth all by herself now and is eager to feed herself with the spoon.  Cereal time usually ends up with us battling her for the spoon because she'll grab onto it for dear life and boy, she's got one heck of a grip on her!  

She's always been a cuddly baby, but here over the past couple of days she's started to suck on our faces when we're holding her...I think she's trying to kiss us, but she might just be trying to knaw on us since she's started teething.  I'm going to try my hardest to update this more frequently, but in the meantime you can check out some pics of her and I on Mother's Day!
